We offer both leather and fabric upholstery for our chairs to suit every individual need. Although both offer excellent seating experience, there are different considerations.

• Leather is stylish, durable and the smooth textured leather makes it comfortable against the skin. Our seat base upholstery is carefully designed with small pores to encourage breathability and airflow. If you perspire easily or work in a non-air-conditioned environment, you might want to consider our APOL fabric chairs. Leather chairs are generally easier to maintain, and it is water-resistant. Thanks to the smooth finish, you can easily clean the leather chair by applying our APOL leather cleaner and simply wipe the substances right off the chair to maintain the optimal condition.

• Fabric chairs are specifically engineered with breathability in mind. Our fabric chairs are soft against the skin and generally cooler due to the nature of the material as it allows airflow to pass through easily. However, if you frequently have your meal at your workstation, do note that any spills or dirt will be easily absorbed by the fabric. You may consider applying APOL fabric cleaner to maintain the chair in tip-top condition.

Do note that the size of the pins of the wheels to insert into the chair is 11mm which is the standard universal size for all chairs.

We deliver our products within 3 to 5 business working days. You may make changes to your order before it is dispatched. Once the driver has collected the parcel, any changes will incur additional fees.

If you have a fabric chair, it is recommended to use a fabric cleaner or any other suitable store-bought cleaner for fabric furniture. Spritz it over the chair and wipe it off with a dampened cloth to remove any stubborn sweat or water stains. Allow the chair to air dry afterward. For dust or food particles, a handheld vacuum can be used. To freshen up the chair, you may use a Febreze spray.

For a leather chair, you should use a leather polish with a microfiber cloth or sponge, polishing it all over. It is advisable to do this at least once or twice a month to prolong the lifespan of the leather.

PU Leather 

Synthetic leather does not share the same durability and quality as natural leather. Hence, it is critical to maintain PU leather to ensure it stays moisturized for improved durability. Below are essential tips for proper PU leather care. 

Avoid Stains and Spills 

New PU leather is waterproof, but its moisture-resistance level peters out as the material ages. But spills and stains are inevitable; when that happens, you need to act fast to ensure that leather doesn't stain or become cracked. Therefore, avoid situations that might introduce water, stains, or spills. For instance, avoid sitting or leaning on your leather couch with clammy or damp clothes.

 Clean PU Leather Using a Soft, Damp Cloth

The secret to proper
faux synthetic-leather maintenance is to clean it using a soft, non-abrasive, and slightly damp cloth. Note that the cloth/towel must be
slightly damp and not wet. Using too much of the protective chemicals leaves traces of the chemical on the leather surface. It then dries out and damages the leather. For proper maintenance, clean the leather at least once a week. 

Avoid Direct Sunlight 

Whether in the workplace or home office, people tend to place their leather chairs near the window to maximize natural light. As you do that, remember direct sunlight is a leather enemy and will cause it to dry and flake off. It would be best to place your PU leather products in a shaded spot for extended longevity.

Please keep in mind that leather may naturally experience some peeling or cracking after extended use, depending on individual usage, heat, and moisture exposure. If you are concerned about further wear and tear, you might consider switching to fabric versions as replacement parts or opt for chair covers to protect the surface.

Our pillow accessories, including the magnetic neckrest, normal neckrest, and premium lumbar support, are not designed to be unzipped due to their curved shape, which makes it challenging to zip them back. As such, the zip handles have been intentionally removed.

The best ergonomic chair for lower back pain will have three important features: adjustability, easy rolling, and excellent lumbar support. The chair's seat, arms, and back should all be adjustable so that it can be tailored to your body needs.

It should be easy to roll so that
you can get as close to your workspace as possible to achieve the ideal comfort, ergonomics, and visibility.

For comfortable user support, the best ergonomic chair has adjustable seat height as well as adequate seat depth and width. It should also have a lumbar back support with adjustable height and depth, as well as a backrest with a width of 12" to 19" and adjustable height and angle to
support the natural shape of the spine. The best ergonomic chair comes with adequate padding and breathable cloth fabric for the seat and back.
More, the chair should have adjustable armrests to support a natural sitting position and natural body position. It should also be easy to swivel around so that the user can sit and work comfortably on the chair
for extended periods of time

Armrests are only beneficial to ergonomics when they encourage a neutral
sitting posture. This is determined by your body type as well as the size of your workstation. Armrests that make it difficult to reach your desk are not ideal for ergonomics.

Multiple studies have found that there are several benefits to ergonomic chairs with armrests, including:

• Reduces the load on the back caused by the weight of the arms. 

• Reduces strain on muscles 

• Supports the hands and underarms for increased strength during precise tasks.

• Reduces load on arms, neck, and shoulders

• Helps to promote better, more stable posture

• Reduces stress on lower limbs

• Prevents excessive stress on the seat

The correct ergonomic seating position necessitates both feet on the floor, which balances the pelvis and facilitates arching the lower back. Elbows should be at your sides, forming an L-shape.

You should sit up straight without slouching to ensure bones, joints, ligaments, and muscles are properly aligned. Hips should be far back in the chair and knees should be in line with your hips.
